It’s the Snow… Man!
2021
Sooo…
I can’t say 2021 was necessarily all the year we hoped it would be. Yes, it was better than 2020, but that really isn’t saying much. We are still (!) fighting the pandemic, and things are really not back to normal yet. Question is, will they ever be?
When summer was wrapping up, I was not looking forward to the fall and the holidays. It seemed that 2021 was going by way too fast but without any real fun or adventure. I guess the year is what we make it, so it is ultimately my fault. Cherish every day, folks. Don’t let this next year slip by like 2021 did. We never know how much time we have left.
This year’s album songs have all been personally approved by Daryl, and I have to thank him for doing that every year. It probably drives him batty having me ask him every two minutes, “Do you like this song? Do you like it more than that last song?,” but he is a trooper.
I originally was planning a much more somber album called The Snowman, but as that tracks came together, I found the album had a much lighter tone than I was expecting. Once I found the artwork, I knew I had to change the title. I tweaked it to have that jokey play on words like 2007’s It Just Might Reindeer.
Once again thanks to David Green for creating and maintaining this website. And thank you all for stopping by.
Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays!
