Announcing Scott’s Holiday Album 2018: FRUITCAKE!
For those of you who have no idea what this about, please read The Background Story (or Why I Do This).
2018 came and went in a flash. It had its normal share of ups and downs, but there were some really good times including David & Karl’s wedding in NYC and a incredible road-trip/meet-up of my old high school friends in Santa Fe in June. Fall was filled with a big rollout of a new system at work involving lots and lots of long hours.
As for the album, I had started out trying to make this album a little shorter than previous years’, but once again I ended up with an album that was nearly so long it couldn’t fit on just one audio CD. Even so, there are less traditional holiday songs than in previous years. As for the title, well… make of it what you will.
I want to thank Daryl again for his unwavering support and help putting this album together. And extra special thanks to my friend, David Green, who once again updated my website for me. I would not have been able to do this without him.
