December Again
2014
In 2014 I discovered myself approaching the holiday season with a little trepidation. Although it’s my favorite time of the year, its arrival reminded me that once again another year has passed. I began to observe a few more wrinkles etched across my face and see few more gray hairs on my head. I also became more and more aware that the time we have with the ones we love is fleeting, so we need to cherish every moment.
These thoughts were running through my head as I chose the song’s for the album. As in years’ past, my mood tends to set the tone of the album. When I first started working on it, I came across this photo which I had originally planned to use as the cover. I think it somehow influenced the selections as well.
