Announcing Scott’s Holiday Album 2019: Sweater Weather
For those of you who have no idea what this about, please read The Background Story (or Why I Do This).
Greetings from Virginia! Had you told me a year ago that I would be moving cross the country, I doubt I would have believed you. While both Daryl and I were extremely for this new opportunity and adventure, leaving Arizona was still hard. I had lived in Phoenix for 26 years. Change is hard, but we’re adapting. We’re still getting used to the colder temperatures and “sweater weather.”
This year’s album nearly didn’t happen due some recent events. We lost Daryl’s father shortly before Thanksgiving, and that along with other things happening in our lives left me short on the holiday spirit this year. I struggled a lot with it this year, perhaps even more than any previous year. Still I knew if I didn’t create the album this year, I would regret it, so here it is.
I want to thank Daryl again for his unwavering support and help putting this album together. And special thanks to my friend and webmaster, David Green. I would not have been able to do this without him.
I hope that as you listen to this album, it brings you and yours some holiday cheer. I also encourage you to check out my previous years’ albums at the links at the top of the page. May you find joy and love in this holiday season and throughout the coming year!
